A Mini-bus runs from Elmswell to the Health Centre, Monday to Friday. Repeat Prescriptions can be ordered and sent back with the mini-bus and left for collection at the Post Office. Please ask at reception for details. From December 1st repeat prescriptions can also be obtained by emailing Pharmacist@GP-D83055.nhs.uk, but remember to include your name and address, patient number, telephone number and a full description of the items you require.

Appointments:

All consultations are by appointment. When possible, please make your appointment in advance. Genuine medical emergencies will always be fitted in with a Doctor, not necessarily your own.

Except in emergencies, if you require a Doctor to call please call the surgery before 10am. Do not forget that this includes weekends and bank holiday's. The receptionist may ask for details of your illness to help the Doctor plan his rounds. At weekends an answerphone will be in operation. The message will tell you which number to call to contact the duty Doctor. In an emergency you may reverse the charges if calling from a pay phone.

If you have arranged to have your prescriptions dispensed here, this can be done any weekday before 8.30am & 6.15pm. Repeat prescriptions can be handed in at these times also if your doctor has agreed to this. At busy times (before bank holidays) it would be helpful if you could leave these for collection at a later date.
